The New YouTube Channel Design
I actually like the new implementation of the channel design in YouTube because of the fresher look and because of the better user experience. It gives the user the option to switch to Player View and to Grid View (which will show your recent video uploads and newly added videos to your Favorites). Migrating to the new channel design might kill your present branding though. It’s advisable to be prepared with your background image and color scheme to use so that you could adapt your branding to the new channel design.
Should you upgrade to Adobe Photoshop CS4?
I just checked out the top new features of Adobe Photoshop. These are the new features that I’m impressed with:
- Masks Panel
- Content-Aware Scaling
- Smoother Panning and Zooming and Fluid Canvas Rotation
And if you find these features to suit your needs, you don’t need to upgrade your hardware. Just make sure that you have 2GB of hard disk space for Mac and 1GB of hard disk space for Windows. Recommended RAM is still 1GB for Mac and 1GB for Windows. But if you’re running Vista and if you have 1GB RAM, maybe you should upgrade to 2GB RAM just to be sure.
