Before upgrading to Wordpress 2.7, always check for plugin compatibility and always backup your database. 
Anyway, most of the listed plugins that weren’t compatible with Wordpress 2.7 have already updated codes. But it is still safe to check before upgrading. And if the plugin is not compatible, better deactivate it first before running the upgrade. Cheers!
